The meeting of Responsible Territories had several aims:
- Enable responsible authorities to meet, find out about one another and exchange experiences and methods.
- Reflect together on key topics concerning the concept, its relevance, tools and methods for implementing it,
connections with sustainable development, synergy of different approaches, and the roles of the various
players (in particular ethical and solidarity-based initiatives).
- Prepare the paper on local/regional responsibility for the Trento seminar with the active participation of
representatives of the four authorities.
- Lay the foundations for further development of the concept and putting across its value for combating poverty
and social exclusion and consider setting up a network.
