[5-6.06.2008] INAISE : The World Social Finance Summit 2008 (Quebec)
We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the World Social Finance Summit 2008 organised by
INAISE (International Association of Social finance organisations) that will take place in Quebec on 5 & 6 June. You will have the opportunity to participate in an historical event: the launch of the Global Network for Social finance.
We are all aware of the social and economic challenges faced in the world today. If we want to see lasting change and new hope for sustainable development, more than ever before, we need to work together.
Both locally and globally, we need to grow in our ability to communicate our vision of just finance. We need to find ways to propose and to organise financial practices that bring lasting change and just and fair access to responsible financial resources for sustainable development.
Exchanges, mutual linkage and support, speaking out, innovation and acting together are at the heart of our project. To realise this programme we can draw on the experience of INAISE members but we also rely on your contribution.
Plenary sessions and round tables to inspire our debates and working groups to realise concrete projects that will be continued after the conference, are some of the opportunities of mutual enrichment and partnership building that you will enjoy during this conference.
The deadline to register is the 10th may 2008
Quebec is the one event this year not to be missed if you want to use social and ethical finance as a real tool for sustainable development. Discover the Summit programme on the 5th and 6th of June and the pre programme organized on 2, 3 & 4 June on the INAISE website.
