FEBEA - Fédération Européenne de Finances et Banques Ethiques et Alternatives

Created in 2001, FEBEA is an international Belgian law association based in Brussels.

Network's objectives :
Open to European Union member states as well as to countries of the free economic exchange zone, it joins together social and responsible economy financial institutions. The contractors of responsible economy, should they be long term unemployed creating their company, farmers launching out an organic exploitation, or managers of social integration enterprises, often have difficulties in finding finance within traditional banking structures. It is to these responsible contractors that FEBEA members give their support. In addition, certain FEBEA members develop social credit products for the most vulnerable populations.

FEBEA's objectives are extremely concrete and aim to create financial tools in order to help its members. Until now, FEBEA created three particular tools: guarantee funds (Responsible Guarantee), a finance company (SEFEA) and a SICAV (variable capital investment company).
